Salvage runes? - Guild Wars Forums

Having some trouble finding runes and such.

What is it I salvage to get them? Tried salvaging 3 different rare (yellow) weapons to no avail. All I ended up with was some wood I think.

Now I did notice that when you identify some things, weapons. Have it be white (common) or yellow (rare) they come up with different info like common up to precious. Is the precious ones what I should be salvaging for quality salvage?

Yes was using a expert salvage kit, thanks.

you need to salvage armor to get runes. rare armor drops often yield runes when salvaged with an expert kit.
